1. Who we are
PEIMock.com operates peimock.com, an independent McKinsey PEI interview-practice tool, and is the data controller for the personal data described here. We are registered at PEIMock.com, 30 N Gould St Ste R, Sheridan, WY 82801, United States. Contact: [email protected].
2. What we collect
- Account data: your email address, an optional first name, and a hashed password (or the account identifier Google returns if you sign in with Google).
- Interview transcripts: the answers you type, and anything you dictate, during a mock interview, plus the interviewer questions and debriefs generated for you.
- Purchase records: which plan you bought and when. We never see or store card numbers.
- Usage data: first-party page and feature events, your device type and chosen settings.
3. How your interview transcript is processed
To generate the interviewer's follow-up questions and your debrief, the transcript you type (and anything you dictate) is sent to a large-language-model provider through our hosting platform's AI gateway. We do not use your transcripts to train models. Transcripts are stored in your account so you can review them, and are deleted when you delete your account or when you ask us at [email protected].
4. Processors we use
- Hosting, database and AI gateway: our hosting platform, which stores your account and transcripts and relays transcripts to the language-model provider.
- Payments: Stripe, through our billing service. Card details go directly to Stripe; we never see card numbers.
- Email: Brevo, which sends account and practice emails on our behalf.
5. Analytics and cookies
Our analytics are first-party: events are recorded by us, not by an advertising network. In addition to the sign-in session, we set a first-party visitor-id cookie (peimock_vid) for one year. We set no third-party cookies.
6. No sale of data
We do not sell or rent your personal data, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
7. Where your data is stored
Your data is stored in the United States.
8. Retention and deletion
We keep your account and transcripts while your account exists. Choose “Delete my account” on your Profile page, or email [email protected], and we delete your account data and transcripts. Purchase records required for tax and accounting are kept for the period the law requires.
9. Your rights
If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to processing; you may also complain to your local data-protection authority. If you are a California resident, you have the right to know, delete and correct your personal information and not to be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 10. Children
PEIMock is not intended for anyone under 16.
11. Changes
We will email registered users before any material change takes effect.
